In Superior1 we had a mapping called ‘Superior’, which was the default
mapping. It was mainly designed to play comfortably on a MIDI keyboard.
Since then we have moved to, what we call, ‘GM-extended’.
It is based on the GM mapping of drums but with a lot of extra notes
defined by us. EZplayer Pro can translate MIDI from ‘Superior’ to
    ‘GM-extended’.

Sure, EZdrummer is a fully fledged virtual instrument.
It will play any MIDI that the hosting sequencer sends to it.
E.g. you can construct the MIDI in the piano roll of your host
adding note by note or drag loops in from EZdrummer or
record from a keyboard or an e-kit. I wrote ‘or’ above but
you can mix those approaches, of course.

I think there is a big X in one corner that nukes the selected sound.

    > Is there no way …

    I’m sorry. I don’t understand the question.

    >How is ‘futurehit’ pronounced? Future Hit?

    Yes.

The lowest velocities should correspond to the ‘normal’
articulation, i.e. the one you get when you preview.

    Yes.

    >What I’ve read is…..

Should no longer be the case.

We updated our copy-protection system a couple of years back to avoid
problems for people like you. If you have a problem now I hope you are not
running the latest version of EZdrummer.

Yes Sonar can handle aftertouch. You might have to choose that
special text only interface if you want to see and edit them, though.

Studio 1 is problematic as a host for e-drummers since it doesn’t
handle aftertouch(poly pressure), which is the MIDI message
that conveys the muting to the drum sampler.

Just to add to the confusion Wink, for most EZXs the ‘EZX optimized’ option is actually the same as ‘All On’.

That’s the pre-release version. That part changed before release.
It now resets to the preset’s default and not to 0dB.

The latest version of EZdrummer 1 is 1.4. If you have something older
    then you should update.
