This is a bug. Thanks for finding it.
As a workaround remove the 8th macro knob, “Pitch Adjust”.

Thanked by: Michael EnglishDreamPop has the most CPU demanding presets of all our products, e.g. Garage1 and White. What you hear is most likely CPU overload. On the other hand, the OriginalMix preset uses hardly any CPU at all, so if that preset glitches then it’s some other problem.
Glitches due to CPU overload are usually caused by running too small a buffer or by having some power saving feature choking the CPU. Sometimes it is actually because the computer isn’t fast enough but that is rare.

Considering that user presets are saved into directories under their respective libraries, are there any adverse or unpredictable behaviours that can be expected if we start shuffling them between libraries?
Go ahead. There won’t be any crashes or other over malign effects. Still, the results range from poor to terrible, so there is not much point.

Thanked by: Bear-Faced CowWhile not being exactly on topic I still wanted to mention that since S3.1.3 you can change the path to where the user presets reside. It’s at the bottom of the Settings>Libraries/Paths page.

Thanked by: Bear-Faced Cow and Brooks HYou typically dial in the EQ differently for each tom in a set. Copying the effects from one Tom-channel into another usual won’t give you a good result. Still, that kind of manouver is pretty simple.
Select the channel you want to copy from.
Save a ChannelEffects preset using the ChannelEffects menu in the top left-had corner.
Select the channel you want to copy to.
Choose that preset you just saved.
Perhaps even simpler is to just Ctrl-drag the effects one by one to the other channel.

Thanked by: stephenpaulharperThe MIDI-learn menu is accessed by right-clicking just about any control.
If you have anything MIDI-learned it will show up in the Remove sub-menu.
If so, all can be easily reset by choosing MidiLearnPresets>Reset.

Thanked by: mickgGreat to hear Dirk!
Dedicating CPU cores is more for SD3 standalone users. It seems to have negative effects when used in most DAWs, from what I’ve seen so far.

Actually, Ableton Live is one of the hosts where it works well.

Perhaps a macro knob or midi-learned CC that you have forgotten.

@Olle You’re getting library confused with preset.
No, I mean that the ‘keep output routing on preset change’ feature is active both when changing preset and library. It does its best to preserve the routing to outputs, whether you change preset or go to another library. Perhaps you are looking for a feaure that goes beyond that?
Btw, the presets in NY Vol 3 are a bit weird. They have only a single buss routed to an output, so this feature is not going to be of much use when changing between them.

I must confess that your discussion here is confusing me.
As far as I know the output routing is conserved when changing
to another library as long as ‘keep output routing on preset change’
is checked.
