That worked!!! Thank you so much. However, I couldn’t find any option for the track that said “don’t follow” but I instead went into the inspector and changed the timebase to seconds instead of beats.

I just recorded the MIDI in standalone SD3. However, after I recorded it and came about this problem, I installed Tracktion Waveform Free to see if I could do something with the MIDI I recorded in there. However, I could not find anything.

Thanks for the response! I am just recording a quick drum cover (The first time I used SD3 for that) and I didn’t think that making a click track would be too necessary. It’s too bad that superior drummer 3 doesn’t have the option to average the space in between selected notes, I feel like it could benefit a lot of drummers. Next time though, I am definitely going to create a click track doing that method.

I am using an alesis crimson pro 2. The module has a USB b output for MIDI. What kind of inputs and outputs would I be looking for on an audio interface for this kind of setup?

I am using a Windows Surface laptop. It has 8 GB of ram, an Intel I5 7300 CPU, and about 126GB of space. The Windows Surface that I have only has 1 USB port. I could technically put SD3 onto my PC which would most likely run it better than my laptop, and has tons of USB inputs, but I feel like it’s a little silly to do that when it’s all the way in another room. Meaning I would have to get some super long USB cables and stuff lol.

Could you possibly send a link to an audio interface that would work for my setup? Just so that I know what to be looking for if I get one.

Yeah, I am sure the latency is coming from somewhere else, just haven’t found out what it is yet :/

Yeah, I have tried changing the buffer size to the lowest it can go and it still isn’t seamless. I am thinking if I use Reaper and ASIO4All, then it might help the latency?
