If you have REAPER, I’d do it that way, it’s the easiest way by far.
TT Solo’s main feature is low latency for live playing with a drum kit, there is no advantage over REAPER for what you want to do with it AFAIK, unless you’re jamming along with a live drummer.
If you’re adventurous, try using Jamstix to generate the MIDI to play EZD. It”ll ramp up and down the playing intensity according to your playing volume
