How are you doing that? No matter what I do it just goes left right left right. And I now see why that is, I think. In the MIDI map I can see that kick 1 and kick 2 are both set to “left” but I don’t see anywhere that I can change one of them to “right.”
Yeah I can live with it now. I’m just kind of baffled as to why they even differentiate between kick 1 and 2 in the MIDI settings if those settings apparently don’t actually do anything, which makes me feel like I MUST be missing something.
Thank you, I also figured out that where I was selecting the sounds for the kick drums it’s a little deceptive – when you have the left kick selected, “kick 2” is at the top of the list of the available sounds and “kick 1” below, and if you have the right one selected “kick 1” is at the top and “kick 2” below. So I did actually have different sounds set for each of the kicks.
I’d still kinda like to know what the point of being able to set individual MIDI note assignments for the left vs. the right kick is if those assignments don’t actually do anything. *shrug*
