That solved the problem.  Had to toggle the Solo Defeat on the Drum Group!  Solo button does what I expected now.  THANK YOU for the help!

Hey Scott, can you advise how to change that?  Is that a change in the Pro Tools mixer or the SD3 mixer?  I’m new to Pro Tools.  Thanks,

I have “bleed” turned off.  If I do the exact same setup in Cubase, Reaper, Studio One, the “solo” button will mute the rest of the Aux sends and only Solo the one aux.  I thought that at first, but it’s not the sound of “bleed.”  It’s the full kit coming through…I’ll check the SD3 mixer once again.  Thank you and stay tuned!

I did. I was able to find it. Not sure what I missed there, but so many panels, I’m sure I overlooked it…for the moment, disaster averted 🙂 . Thanks, John, for the reply!

    Hey Scott,
Regarding the click, yes I now see that in the standalone…Basically Studio One controls the click to your point. All good now.

Sounds like Cubase does the same thing as Studio One: One track for the MIDI and then separate outputs on the channel strip…appreciate it. If there are any Studio One users out there who can shed any further light, greatly appreciated!
