Ah – There’s an Important Readme in the download that explains how it all works. I’ve got it installed already (looks like the download is an msi-based install that can also serve as an updater to a pre-existing older version – guess that’s how all their installs/updates are written now that I think about it), so I’m good to go.
The link in the email that came today with the S/N was no good though. The TT folks may want to be aware of that. (Not sure if I should post an invalid link here though. They probably know where the code is that generates those emails.)
Anyhow, thanks again for your help. I’m hit weekly with drums tracks that need replacing, given the drummer and kit I have to record, so I’m hoping this works well.

So the download that appears after I enter the Drum Tracker S/N is a full install? (Sorry for my ignorance – this my first TT download. All the other files I’ve downloaded from there were to update products I’d already installed from DVD.) Guess I’ll just give it a try and see how far I get.
