And that Properties lists only “center” (D1) and “rim shot” (E1) for the snare. No mention of sweep or swirls, so the mystery remains unanswered here – And I REALLY NEED to know this too, btw!

Although I was really thinking percussions in general when I said “bongos”, I’ll still have a look at that particular package in case it has something I could use for this purpose in some way.
Ta for the tip, maybe someone around here can provide confirmations either way on your theory, since you seemed to have quite some reservations yourself….
