I was able to try out a few basic patterns by tap with my mouse like you show in the video. When I try it with my kit it is not recording, What have I over looked. Understand I may need  Midi 101 because even though I have watced a lot of videos I still a total beginner with Midi

That video is awesome of course and I picked up a few things that I didn’t know. Do you have any vids on just playing straight thru a song without stopping (maybe to edit later). I will of course use advanced editing tips more as I go, but for now I’m looking to play along and record with other players DAW tracks.

I also know a Bass player that wants to use Jamulus to play live on line.   Thanks KB

It looks like it is working good for now. It probably was the Alesis module adjustment (setting it to not play Alesis sounds and recognize midi)

I definitely appreciate your response   “shootiehg”. I’m brand new to MIDI. I did update EZD2 just now and midi-mapping is currently set to none.

I’m in the process of figuring how to set my Alesis Module properly. It may take me a while. I’m wondering why the sounds were all fine when I first connected the kit on Thur. 1-7-21. It seems to be intermittent, like right now I’m not getting any sound on the kit
