    I’m wondering if the same happens when Cakewalk is run as admin.
    Besides that, I think the current Cakewalk version is 2022.02, Build 39, so I’d check if yours is up to date.
    And while at it, may also be worth to check that other drivers, especially ASIO and graphic card etc. are up-to-date.

    On my box (Win 10, Audient USB ASIO Driver, NVIDIA Gfx), the EZd3 works fine, even when loaded into older projects with plenty of other plug-ins active.
    A final note: please make sure that “Sample Rate” and “Bit depth” settings in Cakewalk and Windows do match (mine are 48K/24).
