What happens if you export from Cubase as .midi or . mid? Can you import those?
My mistake. I’d tried doing it from memory. This is what I should have said:
Settings > E-Drums/MIDI In > Mapping.
Are you sure this isn’t only for incoming midi signals (ie from e-drum kits) ?
I’ve now been using this for importing MIDI files, and it works really well: MIDI Drum Remapper | Free Online MIDI Conversion Tool
Yes, it works. I can click on events in Grid Editor, and the instrument changes with the mapping as I said.

Thanked by: Scott EshlemanMy mistake. I’d tried doing it from memory. This is what I should have said:
Settings > E-Drums/MIDI In > Mapping.
To change the MIDI mapping in EZdrummer, Settings – > MIDI input (something like that) then E-Drums tab, then select Mapping under Velocity. From there, you can select your drum kit and manually adjust the MIDI note assignments. Find the mapping layout in Help.
You load, say, a guitar part into Bandmate, and it gives you a drum groove for it.
Presonus helped me fix it. Plugin Manager was thinking that EZD and EZB were duplicates. I unchecked ‘Hide duplicates on startup’.

Thanked by: Petter Adsten and JohnI switched EZB and EZD on in Plugin Manager. They are still greyed, every time I start Studio One. Both are in the folder you said. They are not in the manager block list. EZK and SD load right. Reinstalling EZB didn’t help.
Superior Drummer expansion Real to Reel has octobans in one of its rooms, as well as five toms and two snares.
