This thread should help with mapping. Metal! and Metal Machine expansion packs have two kick drums.

There’s no lite, but you can disable any unwanted drums and cymbals. Right click on each one and choose ‘None’. I don’t know how much less RAM it would take up.

That’s standard ezdrummer. The graphics do change only from room to room, with kits within a room sharing graphics.

If I’m understanding you, try making more than one drum track with the same midi on each. You can then give each track its own kit.

Brushes would be down to the expansion pack. Big Band, Nashville and Jazz have them. Grooves get played on whatever’s in the expansion you’ve loaded into EZD.

    Try this in ezdrummer window:

Settings -> E-Drums/MIDI In. A menu headed ‘Preset’ will open above the kit graphic. Click the menu and then Yamaha.

Have you installed the product manager? https://www.toontrack.com/product-manager/

I’ll stand with everybody that wants articulations back. I’d like to set the hi hat to be always open.

I had fun with samples. A friend sent me some samples of trash cymbals, when said I was looking for some. With his and some I sampled in the shop, I have a bespoke set of cymbals. EZD keeps them under User Audio Files.

My workaround would let you have long cymbal crashes whilst waiting for the full fix.

It’s not ‘programmed’ to do that. It doesn’t do it to me, nor anyone else I know. I’ve told you a fix for it. Up to you to use it or not.

Try loading your own cymbal samples. I have five on the Metal kit. Some were downloaded, and I sampled others in my nearby shop.

I don’t have that problem at all. Are you playing on an electric kit? If so, your mapping might be sending your cymbal hits to choked. I don’t know how to change mapping.

Another workabout would be to load third party samples into EZD. Choke doesn’t work on those. Loading them is as easy as dragging a sample onto a cymbal and saving the kit.

    Hi,

i have the “Latin Cuban Drums” and “Latin Cuban Percussion” and the MIDI-Pack “Latin Rhythms”.

What is in the “Latin Percussion” included? Are there the same MIDI-Rhythms than in the MIDI-Pack and the other Drum-Expansions or is it very different?

How’s about the Instruments? Do the differ a lot?

    Thanks

Listen to the audio samples on each expansion’s page.
