I don’t know if it’s in EZD 2, but EZD 3 has a ‘Learn’ button for doing that. Another way is download a tambourine sample and add it to whatever key you want.
Jazz and Americana have brushes. Some EXPs don’t work with EZD 2. I don’t know which.
Have you checked the EZD output level at bottom right and the meter level of the channel in your DAW that has EZD? It’s best to mix every channel to no more than -12dB. You make up the level in mastering.
Are you talking about the audio demos listing Jazz and other EXPs? That’s what EXPs they recorded the demos in.
Midi packs are only the drum grooves. You do need to buy the EXP for brushes. Where did you read that the midi pack has brushes?
I’ve found the same when playing both of those from a midi piano roll. I move the events forward enough to deal with it.
There’s a drop menu in the Drums tab, top right. I think it’s in that tab.

Thanked by: DougHave you set EZD to your Roland? If so, you can use the ‘Learn’ button. I’m not near my laptop and can’t remember where those functions are. Look up Shootie School on YouTube.

Thanked by: SebargioHow long have you waited for the slots to be freed up? I understand your anger, but many of us have had no trouble at all. They’ve helped me out as well. How long have you waited for the slots to be freed up?
