You can make your own DM-8 kit. Settings – – > E-Drums/MIDI In. Box on the left – – >Mapping. Click a drum or cymbal – – > Learn.
Dragging the track from EZD to Reaper should work.

Thanked by: Roryholmes2004Do the grooves play through the laptop speakers. If so, settings – – > audio/midi setup – – > output – – > your interface.
Try setting the buffer size in the same dialog box to 144 samples. That might help with the time lag.
EZD can’t do that from its library, but you load third party samples into a kit. It’s simpler to buy an EXP with more toms.

Thanked by: HonzikuI’ve been trying it for myself. Saved changes in the mixer are taken forward to all other kits in the same expansion pack.
Make your changes then click on the menu top right –> User Presets –> Save as
You can load your preset from within any EXP
menu top right –> User Presets –> your saved preset
