Do mean a flam? The two hits are a split-second between them. I don’t know of any EZD expansion that have them. You need only to put two quick events in the Editor. Superior Drummer and at least some SD expansions have flams.

Easy fix. Watch this video. He starts talking about what you need at 0.38. He talks about how to remap for keyboards, but it works for drums as well. https://youtu.be/68IVzRIpcM4?si=VXHxrZKiQf53lHmY

He also tells you how to get different hits, such as rimshots.

What is your ekit? There might be readymade settings for it in EZD.

The asterisk means that you have not saved to your user presets. I can only get the asterisk if I change anything in a kit, such as swap a drum. The performance will use whatever is showing in the menu.
