    Try this

     

    Right click on the handclap graphic in Drums tab and choose cowbell.

     

    Settings – > E-drums/MIDI Input – > Mapping

     

    Click on the cowbell and then Learn in mapping. Hit the tom rim.

    Edit: I made a big mistake and can’t take the post down.

    Uncheck the Follow Host button at the bottom of EZD window to stop it running from the DAW curser. Having it checked lets you audition grooves within a song, without needing do anything more than click on the groove in the browser.

    Bandmate: there’s a list of styles to the left. Click on each one and see if any are less horrible.

    Shootie School has some YouTubes about EZD 3. Look them up.

    That’s a bummer. Toontrack should thought of this. It’s kind of annoying.

    It lets you play the drum track by itself, which I find helpful.
