What’s the lag like, if you switch off all the other plugins?

Those plugins are giving you the lag, even though they aren’t in EZD.

Plugins will bring in some lag to a DAW. Are you running any?

I don’t think ‘Add Instrument’ is what you need. Have you tried putting the ride hits in one bar of Grid Editor, then copying and pasting into others?

My searches show only trials of ezdrummer, ezkeys and ezbass. I’m not finding anything about expansion pack trials. Can you give us a link to one you’ve found?

Cyril might be onto it. I’d forgotten how I’ve sometimes had notes programmed in my DAW editor and in the EZD window, and had the Follow Host button switched on.

Do you have EZD standalone open at the same time as the Logic file?

Have you tried the buffer settings in Wave Link?

Do you mean the sample doesn’t come at the right time? That can be fixed in Protools, by adding or taking away silence at the start.
