I get a tiny bit of latency on my 8 GB Windows laptop. A friend has said that his macbook gives none of the latency Windows gives.

From the system requirements on the EZD Web page: 18 GB free disk space (plus 18 GB for download). macOS 10.13 or higher, Intel or Apple silicon processor, 4 GB RAM (8 GB RAM or more recommended).

I don’t think you can download only some it.

Would it work if I copied all installed files from drive D to new drive and changed its drive letter to D, changing the old D to something else?

EZD can’t add like that. It can only swap, say, one cymbal for another. Pop Punk expansion, however, has a snare and side snare. Some EXPs have stacked cymbals.
