Hi Henik, I was going to PM you, but there is no such option in this forum, I think.
as u have logic, can u help me with hi hats? I’m trying to copy logic’s drummer hi hat into SD3. I made a topic here:
https://www.toontrack.com/forum/superior-drummer-3-help/logic-x-drummer-keymap/#p175899
would greatly appreciate ur help :] thanks
Hi Scott, thanks for taking the time to reply. I couldn’t find where toontrack addressed this question in other threads. can you Kindly advise?
And, what do u mean by converting to a general midi track? first I converted the logic drummer to midi by coping it to another track, and then exported as midi file to desktop. and then, imported to SD3 as midi files. am I doing something wrong here?
big thanks!
if u just want to drop midi into track, u just need to select it, drag and drop in a track.
but, If u want to drop within SD3, u need to import through the program.
btw, as u are using Logic, are u having trouble importing Logic Pro X drummer midi’s into SD3?
please check my topic and please bump it as well, as I’m not able to figure it out and toontrack still haven’t replied

Hi, sorry to ask again, but is there a keymap for Logic Pro X drummer?
I’m not a drummer, and I’m sure that many people use Logic Pro X drummer and then import the midi to their favorite drum VI.
I’m really impressed with SD3 sounds and will replace several projects of Logic Pro drummer midi, and when porting to SD3 the Hi-hats and Rides get really weird sounding.
One of the key features of SD3 is the grid editor (to refine the midi data in a very intuitive way), but when porting the logic drummer midi to the grid editor the results are really strange.
Here some audio examples:
Played in normal midi in Logic Pro X

Played through the grid editor

Played in normal midi in Logic Pro X

Played through the grid editor

can Toontrack explain me how can I port to the grid editor without having strange behavior on hi-hats and rides? I appreciate ur support in advance. I can also provide the midi data in case it’s helpful.
thanks
Michael

If you have projects that use the S2 plugin, and want to open them in the future, you would want to keep S2 installed. S3 won’t replace any instances of S2 in previous projects in your host DAW. They are 2 separate plugins.
thank u so much for ur reply! I don’t have projects with S2, but I was wondering if the midi / grooves and sounds of SD 2 are different than SD3? midi files are a great help in tap to find (I have ezdrummer 2), so if the files are different, I’d like to know.
I’m still downloading them, so I can still not install them :] thanks in advance!!!
