Out 1-2 is the instrument track that you have EZdrummer inserted on.

EZplayer pro is NOT an application. It is a plugin.

EZplayer pro will therefore not be found in the applications folder. Further, EZplayer pro is not yet compatible with Pro tools 11 (as it is not yet an AAX plugin).

Also, since you do not own any Toontrack drum samplers (EZDRummer or Superior Drummer) you can not use EZplayer pro in stand alone.

In this instance we can only recommend that you either wait for the AAX version of EZplayer pro, or contact info @ Toontrack . Com and we can look into any possibility for refund.

Please reference this forum link when contacting info @

No, this is the only way for the user to select the drum kit.

I too have this issue on my mac. Here’s what I wrote to support, still awaiting an answer: I have spent several hours now trying to get my recently purchased EZD 2 upgrade to work. When I initially installed it, everything was fine. Upon installing the 2.01 version, it became unstable & started to crash in both standalone and logic AU versions. I wrote to you but no fix. Next I tried uninstalling using the uninstaller (several times) which left the components still in my plugins library, which I manually deleted (they still were accessible & crashed logic). Since I only purchased the upgrade version, I decided to next install EZD1again in order for the upgrade version 2 to have something to ‘upgrade’ as indicated in the instructions. Here’s where the REAL weirdness starts: when I now install the EZD2 upgrade using the download from the website, I get a message saying everything was installed ok, but the only version on my computer is EZD1! As you can see from the attached file, the standalone application SAYS it is version 2.01 but when I open it, I get EZD1 (which incidentally works). This is clearly a major bug & I have wasted too much time already on this. Help please! What are my options if I can’t get this to work? Can I get a refund from the retailer?? Thanks for your attention to this.ezd2-jpg.jpg

This is not the same issue as above and the instructions that I provided this user will not work for you.

We have replied to your email from support. Please know that all emails to support are answered during normal USA working hours Monday – Friday.

Your original email has been forwarded to our programmers for review and therefore it is taking longer than normal. We have again asked them for assistance.

I’ve downloaded my ezdrummer2 upgrade and installed it. This is on my second computer. The problem I’m having is after it’s loaded I go into my DAW and pull up VST instrument, but the original EZdrummer comes up and it has the EZDrummer2 percussion and vintage choices but with the original EZDrummer. I’ve tried this 3 times now without success. What can I do to truly get EZDrummer2 to come up. It’s working perfect on my other computer.

I’m also having difficulty getting EZMix to show up at all. I tried the path a few times.

The only difference is this computer is Windows 8.1 and my other computer is windows 7.

The problem is most likely due to an old DLL file that was manually moved to your DAW’s plugin folder. Manually moving plugin DLL files is never a good idea because it causes these types of issues with updates.

The solution will be to open the DAW’s plugin folder and delete the old EZDRummer dll.

Then use the plugin manager in the DAW to set the path to the installed location of the EZDrummer DLL. This location can be found by launching EZDrummer 2 in the stand alone app and then clicking Help > show Plugin path.

Make sure to install the 2.0.1 update. The update is found in your account under My account > My Products > EZdrummer 2 > UPDATES.

Then restart the computer after the update.

You will then find the EZDrummer app in Applications/ToontrackScreen-Shot-2014-07-14-at-10.14.55-AM-1.png

    MIDI packs are download only.

since you were Logged into your “other” Toontrack account at the time of purchase the MIDI pack was auto registered to this account.

I have now moved the songwriters MIDI pack to your Toontrack account with the Yahoo address.

Please log into this account to access your products.

It is highly recommended that you ONLY use One single account.

Great. When in doubt restart the computer.

Check out the Songwriters Fill packs for less busy grooves: http://www.toontrack.com/product/songwriters-fillpack

You can hear all of the grooves in this pack by using the Show webshop MIDI button. Follow these instructions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuvQDqx4E30

    Hi

Please see the compatibility chart for EZDrummer 2 at the bottom of this link.

    http://www.toontrack.com/product/ezdrummer-2/

Cubase LE is not one of Toontrack’s supported or tested hosts and therefore we can not guarantee operation.

IF cubase LE however has a plugin manager and allows 3rd party plugins you could try using the plugin manager to add the path to the EZDrummer 2 plugin.

The location of the EZdrummer 2 plugin can be found by launching EZDrummer 2 in stand alone and then clicking Help > show plugin path. Then use the Cubase plugin manager to set the path to this same location.

    HI Clare,

Yes, Your EZDrummer lite upgrade qualifies for the EZDrummer 2 upgrade.

(i.e. it is NOT necessary to purchase the more expensive EZDrummer 2 Lite upgrade).

For the MIDI that you own, No there are no duplicates in the bundles offered on Toontrack.com. (this may differ however with bundles offered at retailers).

There are some MIDI packs Such as the Pop! MIDI pack, that is the same MIDI that is included in the EZX. This was done so that a user could purchase the MIDI without purchasing the sounds if they wanted.

All MIDI packs that have the EXACT same name as the EZX have the EXACT same MIDI. If their names are different then they do not have any redundant MIDI.

    Hi Jon,

Please send the EZDrummer document in an email to: info (at) Toontrack (dot) com.

Obviously replace the “at” and “Dot” with the correct symbols.

In the email please write Attention Michael Sanfilipp and provide this forum link https://www.toontrack.com/forum/ezdrummer-pre-sales/controlling-the-volume-of-opening-crash/#spPostForm

    That could be useful information…

When does it work? Does it work when you use grooves from the library and not the blank groove that you have saved?

can you send us your EZdrummer project? You can upload it to this forum.

I am able to adjust velocity on an opening hit in my version of EZdrummer 2.0.1… Im not sure why it would not work in yours.

I have asked the programmers for more info. We will get back to you soon.
