    Zook,
    I went through the same gyrations.
    Go to “Products” and select “Toontracks software tools.”
    Down-load Toontrack Solo
    Open it up and you’ll see your EZD1.
    As John said in the preceding post this is a starting point to trouble shoot.
    I use Ableton Live. In order for the vst to load EZD the Solo has to be open.

    There has been a learning curve for me, but now that I have tweaked it, my biggest issue — not jones-ing on all the packs. The definition, clarity – quality of the sound available is pretty inspirational!!Laugh Great job guys!

    In addition to recording I wanted to use EZmix as standalone to practice guitar with. I ended up using a Line 6 DirectTone GX, lowered the bit-rate and buffering and everything works great. No latency issues even with high demand settings. Pretty cool.
