Just found this thread, after fighting this problem for an hour or so. Here I sit in November of 2019, and the issue is still the same. Can’t change time signatures mid-song in EZD2 (fyi running in PT12.7). I’d be more than happy to hand-jam the changes in via the plugin interface, but no dice. *sigh*
Thanks for the answer! Even though the answer was “No, you can’t do that”, at least now I know.
The MIDI mapping feature alone might prompt me to crossgrade to Superior Drummer. I am not keen on tying it to my current DAW; then I can’t switch DAWs without re-doing my mappings.
I’m familiar with Menu->right click->Sound Libraries->EZX Lib->MIDI LAYOUT docs, but they don’t list all the notes on the keyboard that can produce MIDI and thus drum sounds, hence my original question 🙂
