I don’t even know if this forum is searchable, but in case someone else ends up with this problem….in Bitwig add the TD-50x controller as a “keyboard” instead of “controller.” That solved my problem! Thanks to everyone who gave me suggestions!

Thanked by: JohnYes that’s my thought too – I’ve submitted a ticket to Bitwig asking more or less the same thing. It doesn’t help that I’m a newbie to Bitwig as well! Too much new stuff all at once for my little brain to handle.
Thank you Mike – in that video he is showing how to “learn” (remap) the MIDI notes to different drum sounds. I can do that just fine for all the instruments, but I can’t get it to “learn” the hi-hat CC controls within Bitwig. Or rather, it is already listing the correct CC numbers, but doesn’t seem to be getting the signal. I’ve tried to get it to “relearn” the hi-hat controls but I have been unable to. There is already a TD-50x preset, which I am using, and everyone works completely fine in standalone. Just not as a VST plugin within Bitwig.
