Well – the “happy times” didn’t last long.
Cubase crashed right after I saved the previous post…..

    Hi.
I have updated SD3 to the latest version (3.3.7), as well as the latest Cubase version (13.0.41).
And the latest builds from Softube (2.5.86). I don’t know for sure that I will avoid crashes in the long or short run but it seems like Cubase somehow stopped crashing…..at least today 🙂

….and: I did a lot of testing regarding how I added SD3 to a Cubase project; It seems to me that adding an VST instrument (incl a midi-track) works way better than adding a VST instrument track. I have no idea why as long as there is only one instance of SD3 and one midi-track running in each project.

Well safe mode worked, and then I deleted the preferences….started Cubase….
Cubase worked fine for 3 hours today, and then: BANG crash again while exporting Audio. The application was terminated with an error while executing the following file:
    C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 13\VST3\Cubase Plug-in Set.vst3\Contents\x86_64-win\Cubase_Plug-in_Set.vst3

Thanks for the tip. I’m testing safe mode now (amongst other tweaks/disabling of plugins etc.)
