It’s tracked from the original drums so the timing should be exactly the same. Could be the dynamics on the hats and cymbals playing tricks with the feel of the song, they’re always so hard to replicate to a real kit no matter how much you tweek the midi.

I used the Aarhus Abyss Kit 1 preset and modified that in SD3, then sent that out as a single channel to my DAW and processed the full kit with a bit of compression, EQ and saturation.

Pop the drum stems into tracker and use a hell of a lot of patience to then track anything manually that it doesn’t automatically assign to midi.

Sick stuff man! Awesome mix on  those drums and even better playing! Not a fan of the video effects but each their own. Keep up the good music!
