Thank you John for that update. The EULA seems to be open to much interpretation.

However, I noticed I am not allowed to change chords, replace a verse etc after I have assembled the various song parts and saved that as a new midi file (song).

There seems to be some kind of copyright protection going on within EzKeys2 when I try to modify “my” song later on. If I modify a single chord, all the chords become that chord that I had entered. I can’t delete a verse and replace it with another verse from the same midi song (AOR midi pack). I have to believe this is very deliberate.

Obviously another midi editor would allow me to modify the file. Is that illegal somehow?

Not trying to be a wise guy, just trying to make a song, my song. I bought quite a few midi files from ToonTrack. I sure hope that wasn’t a mistake.

I know this was from months ago, but I do the same thing and have not experienced any issues editing the MIDI in my constructed track. I frequently will delete a note or two from a block I drop into the track. I like to use a single groove as a starting point, and then go from there.
