Does your DTX 900 crash trigger properly with the Yamaha mapping? The Crash 1 tip/bow isn’t mapped properly for the DTX 900. I get it that there are several DTX mappings, but hopefully TT will reconsider and create a few extra maps. All of the other leading competitors have.
Hello,
Great question and suggestion on adding different mapping for DTX kits. I’ve found that Superior Drummer 2.0 has always been behind on the midi mapping presets compared to the other top competitors. I get excellent response right out of the box with Addictive Drums 2 and when I had version 1. Now with EZD2 it also is spot on with the HH from the start. I was pleasantly surprised and somewhat baffled why SD2 could not get this right. I just never could get a good response with SD2 on the HH even with using the HH Curve settings. I’ve even manually mapped it with all articulations and it still did not feel right or perform correctly. Of course with EZD1 there wasn’t even an option for ekit really. Regarding my crash trigger I honestly don’t know. I’m currently using a very small setup of my full kit and only have the Kick, Snare, and HH being used. . I’m not in a place where I have room to setup the full kit, unfortunately. Once I do I’ll see what my triggering does and get back with you. Unless its fixed or updated by then. Take care.
P.S. I guess I could just connect my crash to crash input 1 and see what happens. Get back to you on this.

Yep, same thing happened to me. Before I installed the new SD 2.4 update EZD2 and SD2.0 were working great. After 2.4 update lost my EZD2. Had to completely reinstall EZD2 and of course all the expansions, midi, and SD2 midi files. All is good now and my new EZD2 kits are showing in SD2.0.
