I stumbled on the solution, highlight the first ‘4’ in the 4/4 window, and change it manually to 5. I was looking at all the drop downs.

I have no idea what ‘transport controls’ are, but I see nowhere in any setting options for any way to choose or change the time to 5/4.

Thank you, but I’ve already been there. Here’s a screen shot of the parameter list that opens when I choose ED3 from the plugin list, along with the MIDI input preferences, which doesn’t include ED3. I would think when opening ED3, I would get the regular interface window.

Also here’s a screenshot that shows the ‘Enable Audio Units’ box checked and greyed out so it can’t be changed. It wasn’t like that yesterday before I got ED3 into my plugin list.
