John- I figured out what my problem was. I didn’t have anything selected in EZD2 as far as MIDI controllers go. Now I’ll have to play with a sample sound, setting EZD2 to output on different channels and triggering the tracks from EZD2.
John- next question… (sorry now I’m having fun again..) I have a Novation Launch Key 61 and before it was easy to play EZD2 from the pads on the Launch Key. Now it seems not so easy. I have two setups for it in Studio One 3 Pro 1) setup as a keyboard controller 2) as Mackie HUI (see attachment.) Maybe you can look at it and see if I’m doing something wrong or there is something else I need to do.
Thank you for all your help! With success of this it will push me toward Superior Drummer. But I’ve got to be able to know that I can use pads on the Launch Key for clients (as well for my own songwriting.)
John- that fixed my problem. Next question. My version of Studio One 2 Pro was using EZD ver 1. If I path the VST to the same .dll file will EZD2 work in place of the old version?
Thank you again for all your help!

So John – you are saying that EZD2 has to be running before Studio One 3 Pro is launched? Before Studio One can see the VST file correctly (without EZD2 activated)?
Thanks. Just trying to clarify. I’m having the same problem.
