Hello Scott or anybody at Toontrack. I haven’t had an answer to the previous post from March 26th.
“Hello Scott E, thank you for your kind answer.
regarding the question #3, the laptop keeps running the program, however something happens and suddenly there is no volume, no sound when I hit the pads. It’s like playing in mute. So when I unplug the USB wire and replug it back to the laptop or the edrum module, everything keeps running normal. The other option is to turn off the drum module and turn it back on again. I don’t think is my MacBook, it has icore-7 / 2.2 Ghz / 16GB Ram.
I am running everything directly from SD3, just like I did it with EZDrummer and I had the same issue with EZD.”

    Any comments? Please advise.

Thank you for your answer John.

    1. first I would like to know which version number is displayed in the EZdrummer 2 plugin interface.
Where and How do I find that information?

    2. Next, which OS version are you on?
Mac OS High Sierra Version 10.13.3

    3. If you enter the Settings > Audio/MIDI Setup, what are your Audio Device and MIDI Device settings?
Audio Device is Core Audio and MIDI Device Settings is e-drum

    4. In the Menu in the right upper corner of the interface, you can go to Settings > E-drums and select a MIDI Mapping Preset. I suspect one of the Generic ones will do.
    It doesn’t do anything

    5. If you by signal mapping mean learning MIDI notes for drums by hitting your pads, it is not an EZdrummer 2 feature but a Superior Drummer 3 feature.
Yes, I mean signal mapping. what you need to do in your website is to publish a comparison chart between EZD and SD and list each feature and what each software can do. I see that as poor advertisement and lack of information towards the user.

    6. If you on the other hand mean switching sounds, there is the Orange Preset drop down menu at the top of the interface and then each drum has got a small drop down property box where you can switch out individual sounds or load kits.

According to this picture, show me how do I select the Sidestick sound to play with my e-drum.

    Thank you.
