Hi Tobbe,
We have seen multiple other cases where customers have had User MIDI or third party MIDI in their EZDrummer > Midi folder.
Please make sure that when you add User MIDI to Superior Drummer 3, you are adding it to the User MIDI folder or adding it in a Linked Folder to the Grooves browser.
To add a Linked Folder, go into Options > User MIDI and Linked Folders > Add Linked Folder.
You can also drag your MIDI files to the User MIDI folder in SD3 from your computer and the MIDI will get added.
If you want to add it in Windows Explorer or in Finder, right click the User MIDI folder > Open in Finder/Explorer.
After adding new files to those folders, you may need to right click the User MIDI folder in SD3 and click Sync File Changes to see the changes in SD3.

I have all my MIDI grooves in a folder next to all my SD3 samples folders !
My User MIDI grooves are not affected in any way !

Same issue here. The last update deleted all 3rd party midi files from the grooves tab.
Luckily the grooves were not deleted on our hard drives !
That will be in the next update 😉

My third party MIDI files are placed in multiple folders and subfolders and dragging them to the User MIDI area is not a solution !
The Add Linked Folder place the grooves under my User MIDI !
I rather wait for a fix that make it work like it did prior to 3.2.5 !
Thank You !

Thanks !
Good to know that I am not alone with this issue !

After 3.2.5 I can’t make it happen again !
Seems to be solved !

Thanked by: JohnI have a similar issue with the playhead in Studio One freezing whenever I am in working in the SD3 grid editor !
Seems like it’s problematic whenever two playheads run simultaneously or something !
Latest graphical drivers are used !

I wish Toontrack could fix all the bugs and GUI suggestions that people have made for almost 4 years instead of pushing new Expansions all the time !

If you have clicked reset the shortcut it must be your keyboard !
Maybe it’s a keyboard with programmable buttons ?

Just reset the shortcuts in the settings
I’m on PC
Ctrl+Plus Zooms in
Ctrl+Minus Zooms out

I love the interface in SD3 !
Shortcuts and functionality – Not so much !

Intermittent problems like this are the worst !

Not seeing this situation here. All I can think of, is to verify whether your note in the Grid Editor is falling within the groove. Without seeing any examples, the only thing that comes to mind is that the note is being pushed a little too far forward.
jord
Yes that is a logical thought but all notes fall within the groove !
Right now it somehow works ???

As a workaround, you can drag it down with 1x tempo, then right-click the block and use the Change Tempo submenu (and manually adjust the block length afterwards).
I just tried that which resulted in an immediate crash when using Stand Alone version.
I’ve attached the crashdump that was generated by this action
Update:
Same issue in both DAW and Stand alone!
Affects all types of grooves !

Since I don’t seem to be able to start a new thread for a bug I post it here instead !
When in the Groove Tab and dragging a groove down to the timeline and with a tempo other than 1x ( From the drop down menu ) the block becomes empty or half empty.
Reply To: dump files happening when i use song creator after installing 3.22 update version: 3.2.2
Operating system: Windows 10I can’t reproduce this, it seems to be working correctly. Maybe it would help if you post a project file (zipped) and some more details on what you do (from where you drag and to where, maybe a screenshot).
How come you can’t you start a new thread? At the bottom of https://www.toontrack.com/forums/forum/superior-line/superior-drummer-3-help/ ?
It happens in both DAW and Stand Alone but the strangest thing is that it only affects certain grooves.
I’ve taken screenshots of every tempo modifier in the drop down menu so you can see what happens after dragging the groove to the timeline.
I have also provided the project files for both DAW and Stand Alone.
1/2x (Half Tempo)
1x (Default Tempo)
2x (Double Tempo)
2/3x (4/4 -> 6/8)
3/2 (6/8 ->4/4)
See attached a zip files
PS
I didnt see that the thread start was at the bottom !
They’re usually at the top !
Thanks
