Gentlemen! This should resolve my issues with SD3. Thank you very much.

I have the same problem. I wish to use the specific keyboard shortcuts in SD3 when in Reaper. How exactly do I override the default settings in Reaper so that SD3 VSTi recieves the input instead of Reaper?

Please let me add a couple of requests coupled to shortcuts in Superior Drummer 3.

    Please consider

    1. adding a shortcut to go into settings, for instance [cmd +, (comma)], like most other apps on mac has,
    2. adding a search field for searching for specific shortcuts, much as Reaper lets you search for any function via its “action list”, and
    3. adding a shortcut to alter the tempo.

No, the presets’ names remain the same, no matter what I do, e.g. open SD3 in Reaper or in standalone mode, or when changing libraries.

Thanks. Now I just need to find out how SO4 recognizes this pitchlist.

Did you find out? It doesn’t show for me either inside Studio One. I have refreshed the browser window where the pitchlist file is, but no luck.

Yes, that’s right. I found one that does the job very well. Thank you!

I have an app installed, AquaSnap, that lets windows snap to corners when you move them there. It makes all windows somewhat transparent when they are moved around. This includes the SD3 VST window when opened up inside of the DAW. Here’s a screenshot of how it looks. I just think that it could be useful to have this option available as it sometimes could be beneficial for the workflow when having an overview of the project itself.

Yeah, I believe this works as it’s very responsive to inputs now. Thanks!

I actually ran into this scenario too today while exploring SD3. If I set the buffer size inside SD3 to anything below 256 and click Apply, it automatically jumps to 444. All buffer sizes above 256, e.g. 512, 1024 remain as they are after clicking Apply. Have a newly installed Windows 10 system with an i7 8700K, 16GB ram and an Apollo Twin Thunderbolt.

Oops.. I had the exact same problem yesterday in SD3, and didn’t read your post thoroughly enough. Don’t know about EZD. But maybe it’s the same.

You have to do the time signature changes yourself in SD3. It only follows the tempo from you DAW. So if you’ve made time signature changes inside of your DAW, you have to do the same in SD3. It’s fairly easy. It’s in the manual I believe.

In Cubase 9.5 SD3 do follow the tempo but not time signature changes it seems. September 2018.

Sorry, I just realised (how) you change the time signature inside of SD3 in order for it to follow the bars played in the DAW.
