I was able to get my Hi Hat working closed and open during live play into Pro Tools with EZDrummer 2 running – I was getting some odd results with ALESIS setting in Toontrack MIDI settings so I when to NONE. The half-open hi hat seems to be hit or miss in Toontrack.
Cymbal choke is still a bust. I can change the value of a rim shot, because when I click the rim a value on my Alesis Command comes up in MID and I can change that value with . This does not work on Choke, so I am not sure how to send that to Toontrack. When I choke the cymbal there is no MID change, so when I adjust on MID after choking, it just changes my cymbal.
