A couple of days ago, I did a “nuke and pave” on my laptop. Reloaded Logic Pro. Went to reload EZD2 and was stopped short.
It would have been nice if Toontrack was proactive and sent out notification that the EZD2 installation was not compatible with Catalina.
Is there an ETA for the fix?

Thanked by: Erik Martines SanchesHenrik, thanks for the reply. This helped immensely.
It seems like I’ve owned EZDrummer for years but have only recently started using it in a more purposeful way. I commend what you all did with the move to EZDrummer 2. You took a good product and made it even better. In every way!
My questions are based on my experience with other software (and sometimes in other industries) and my work flow. Sometimes the obvious is too obvious. And sometimes it’s not.
Thanks again.
Hi Scott and thanks for the reply.
I missed the “Follow Host” button. I believe that lets me do what you’re doing. I open a software track in the DAW and bring up EZD. In EZD I create a drum track to follow a scratch melody track previously recorded in the DAW that’s about the length of the song. This lets me get my whole drum track down and it makes it easy to add variations as the song goes along.
This has led to a couple of additional questions:
1. I can tweak the drum groove in the Edit Play Style window. But I don’t know how to add different drums in specific locations in this window. I find I need to go to the Drums tab where I can loop the groove, hit record and hit the specific drums when I want to add them. Does this sound correct? Or should I be able to add a specific drum hit from the Edit Play Style window?
2. Is there any way to resize the EZD window? It’s fine on my desktop computer but it takes most of the screen on my laptop.
3. Are there any keyboard shortcuts? If I want to remove a drum groove segment, I need to right click and select Remove. It’d be great to just hit a single key.
4. I am unable to lengthen a drum groove. I can shorten it but not lengthen it. I’m using either copy and paste or holding down the option key and dragging the groove to make a new copy. Is there a way to lengthen the groove just by dragging it?
Thanks again for your help.
