Correct. I have 4 instances of sd3 loaded for 4 diff kits available on the fly with no load time
only one at a time is sending audio. But the multiple channel audio is specific per instance of sd3.
So 4 x sd3 out 1/2 stereo works perfect even all on at the same time. Soon as I add multichannel for any of the 4 kits it goes sideways
So instrument rack is just a device that lets multiple instruments to be dropped on a single MIDI channel. U can then program which are on at any given time. It’s a simpler way of doing it rather then having seperate tracks per instrument.
For the purpose of my problem it dosnt seem to matter which of these 2 ways I use. The instant I add an audio channel for multi channel output on one of the ssd3 MIDI channels *when I have more then one instance of ssd3 The latency goes thru the roof
The key is multiple instances of sd3.
if u only do one with multi output it’s fine.
soon as u put more then one either by way of instrument rack or just more channels it seems to have the issue I describe
