    UPDATE:

I have uninstalled both the 32 and 64 bit versions and using Product Manager reinstalled the older 2.1.5 32 bit version only.  This works, on both new projects and old projects, EZMix is found by ProTools MP9.

However, if I then update that installation to version 2.2.1, it goes missing again.

Uninstall it, reinstall the old version again and we’re back to being able to make noise.

So it appears that the issue I’m encountering involves 2.2.1 release.  Now obviously I’m pleased that I’ve got a usable product again, but the update exists for a reason so I’m still interested in anyone’s help please!

Hello John, Thanks for the reply. Before I post a screenshot, do you need to see the computer id codes or can I block them / send them to ToonTrack less publicly?

I had this problem. Run both Pro Tools SE and EZ Drummer as an administrator, then it’ll work – you can drag and drop the midi files from EZ Drummer in to Pro Tools SE. This leads to the problem I’m about to post though and is probably connected to yours – it’ll drag the midi patterns across but not associated sounds, so if you’ve upgraded the kit, like I have to Drum Kit From Hell, it plays back on Pro Tools far less quality drum sounds. Can anyone help with this?
