I’m not “techy” enough to figure out the actual source of the problem but I have figured out a way around it. I’m triggering a TD-30 and recording in Studio One. What I do to get the extra volume is to add an EQ to the post-out inserts of your monitor channel (which may be your headphone channel). Use the EQ to boost the gain on the monitor which will raise the volume of everything and then lower the volumes of all the other channels you are monitoring except the channel with SP3. You might have to adjust it a few times to get the balance but now the drums will be louder. Your recording input level will remain the same. Only your monitor output volume will be affected.
Operating system: Windows 10
