S0 –  I’ve just had the same problem with the error message whilst trying to bounce my drum tracks ……it wouldn’t work from the stand-alone version, but it worked perfectly well when I used SD 3 from inside my DAW.     Later I found out that in Stand-alone my Internet Security was blocking Superior Drummer from writing the files. I disabled it and it worked fine.  Just thought I’d mention in case it helps anyone else.
