I have also to thank you for your quick reply. Now I am looking forward to Update 3.04 🙂
Nevertheless SD3 is great!
Hi Henrik,
I did it exactly that way. But I tried it with a midifile with time signature 9/4 and it doesn’t work. The file after dragging it into the user folder shows 4/4. But today I tried it with an file in 9/8, 3/4 and 5/4. These time signature were shown in the user folder correctly. But If I use 9/4 or 13/8 it does not work.
There is something more that I noticed. All time signatures that are already in midifiles (from midipacks) in my Groove Library works fine. I can see them in the time signature filter window of the groove tab. If I use an new midifile with a “new” signature like 13/8 it does not work.
Hello Henrik,
I just installed 3.03 Update, but the bug seems to be already there 🙁
Hello Verney,
I actually think, that this is a windows problem, which is is related to the user administration or wrong path. I suggest doing/answering the following to help toontrack to solve your problem:
Search and post the errorfile.doc (in my pc it is located here: c:usersall usersToontrackSuperior3), if you can’t find it there, please use your file explorer and search “errlog.doc” and post it here.
If you already tried what I have posted on Oct16: Did you tried it also logged in as admin? So it may be, that “your” user has no rights to write in that folder, which SD3 has chosen.
Good luck!
Problem solved!
I have found an Errorlog in c:usersall usersToontrackSuperior3 with follwing entry:
ERROR opening file C:/Users/cubase/Documents/Toontrack/EZdrummer/User MIDI/Superior Drummer 3 01.mid
I have created an new folder in “C:/Users/cubase/Documents/Toontrack/EZdrummer/User MIDI” and have allowed Access for relevant users.
Now all works fine !
