I’d love to see Linux fully supported. I’ve been using Mac’s since 2008 when I purchased an iMac for myself. Still using it although it is not getting new updates anymore do to it’s age. My employer purchased a new MacBook Pro for me and I think it is a piece of junk. When the iMac dies I will definitely NOT being buying anything from Apple’s current lineup. Maybe if they release an updated Mac Mini but I’m not holding my breath.
I will most likely switch to Linux even if it means switing away from EZ Drummer. I don’t want to mess with Wine. I really want native support for Linux.
First, the naming convention used for the groove is fine. I’m also satisfied with the explanation I received.
What I am not satisfied with is the fact that the case was “Closed” even though I had no answer AND the fact that it is obvious the technician didn’t even try and replicate my issue because if he had it is obvious he would have seen the pattern naming convention.
I did search for an answer on these boards (specifically searched the FAQ) with no luck before making my original post. As I heard nothing on the issue for 8 days, I then opened the support case.
Thanks!!!! You gave me enough information regarding the “banks” to figure it out…
FYI: I typed the first pattern in wrong…it wasn’t EP_F_2F2_T8Fb, it was EP_F_2F2_TBFb just as in your screenshot.
Thanks again!!!
Since nobody has responded to this in the forum, I figured I would open an official support case. I did this and was directed to http://www.obedia.com where I received the following response:
No definitive answer and they closed the case so I can’t add any comments to it!
How can they not have recognized the format? They have no access to it? WTF!!! This is very simple to reproduce:
This is what happens when you farm out support to third party. Come on Toontrack, you have a great product, now support it!
