    Hi Olof,

Thanks for your message and info.

That’s really odd, as I’ve been an SD3 user for many years and actually did have the HH pedal working before!!

    Thanks again,

    Maurie

Ok, I spent a lot of time relearning and setting up the TD30 with a standalone drumkit, that has no local triggering (sounds from the td30). I then spent some time with training SD3 with snare and hihat settings. One thing they don’t tell you is to hit your hihat when calibrating at each stage (open, close, open) that seemed to help a lot. Also, upon calibrating, some of the midi tracks I recorded earlier did come to life. Not sure when/why they undid the hihat footpedal function… I like it, personally.

They need to send out an up to date video instruction on these; the best one I found was 7 years old by Mike Luke (good stuff) – https://youtu.be/RN0qsbVgUyw?si=RP1kpt75qkQLIj_1

This issue is considered resolved. Thanks all for your input.

I just checked this out on my backup machine which is actually on sd3 3.3.7 and the problem exists on that version as well.

I just noticed it after trying to track a drum section off my roland TD 30 through PreSonus Studio One v 7.

Everything is up to date and it’s definitely not the DAW or the TD 30 – none of my hi hat barks (quick open close hi-hat) play in sd3 at all… the media information is definitely there but I simply can’t get st3 to perform them.

I see hh options in the MIDI mapper of sd3 but I cannot change/select them. I admit I lack knowledge in this area of midi mapping.

I’ve got EzKeys and Reaper setup (latest versions). I am hoping to be able to utilize EzKeys voices while editing in Reaper; can I internally map/link EzKeys with Reaper to do that? I’m a bit confused on the hosts vs standalone… “Note that the ‘MIDI Out’ function is only available in select hosts and is not available in Standalone operation and as a result the ‘Enable MIDI Out’ entry pictured above will be greyed out in those scenarios.”

    thanks
