can anyone shed any light on this or should I just go ahead and dispute it with Mastercard – do I need this (EZ Player Pro) or not ?

after rereading this – did I need EZ Player at all now that I have Reaper (thanks again)
I bought it because someone on this forum said that’s what I needed ?

what purpose will it serve me @ this point – if I don’t need it at all can I get a refund ?

I have no problem keeping it if it serves a REAL purpose but from what i’m reading it doesn’t seem necessary ?

    or is it necessary ?

I’m sorry – i’m old school and not up on my computer jargon –

I had hoped I could I could choose beats in EZ Drummer then construct those beats in EZ Player Pro (sequencer right ?) and then save that file as a wav on my laptop and import it into my Korg D888 via USB cable. If something else is needed please enlighten me

I have EZ Drummer and EZ Player Pro @ this point – thanks

The guy at Guitar Center told me ALL I needed was EZ Drummer to do what I needed (I explained to him in detail) – I bought that – then found out I needed a sequencer – I bought that
    – now what do I need ?

and after I buy this do I even need my Korg ?

sorry if i’m coming off as a jerk but I’ve been mislead @ GC – thanks

    wait…DAW ?

    my Korg is my DAW

Korg D888 – it’s a standalone unit setup like an analog mixer – I hook it up to my laptop and can import or export files – PLEASE don’t tell me I have to buy something else to make this work..

I’ll be creating drum tracks in EZ Drummer and then pasting them together in EZ Player Pro and saving them as wav files so I can import them into the Korg D888 – thanks

thanks Scott but I read about a guy who trashed 2 Korgs like mine using 32 bit files – am I missing something here ?

the files when I import them into my Korg will be ? bit

will I have an option to save my finished drum tracks in 16 bit ?

i’m still installing so I haven’t gotten that far yet – thanks..

I just D’loaded EZ Player Pro and see it’s 32 bit or 64 bit – my Korg is 16 bit – won’t that trash my machine ?

    did I just waste $150.00 on stuff I can’t use ?

    WTF ?

    anybody know ?

got it up & running thanks guys – as i’m reading the manual I guess I need a sequencer too ?

I thought I could create my tracks in EZ drummer then import them into my korg D888 as wav files – I do 90% of my work in the korg so this computer stuff is a bit new to me – any help would be appreciated –
