Hi Marlena, I have been making my own backing tracks for my solo gigs for many years and I do almost all tracks for my CD projects. I have been using toontrack for years and it was a game changer for the flexibility and quality of my drum tracks. Here are some recent projects https://music.apple.com/us/artist/joel-katz/444242276 . My website joelkatzmaui, com.
Thanks, I’m glad you like them. The drum parts were all done with superior drummer. Isn’t that what this forum is for? I used digital performer for the project.
just put up a post and then I saw yours in a search. Any solution? here’s my post:
Greetings from Maui. I’m playing live gigs here and I would like to use superior drummer patterns, and the great sound, of course. I’d like to be somewhat spontaneous. I am looking for something like the old Alesis drum machines that had A and B pattern variations and a stop start pedal and fill pedal. I’d appreciate any suggestions. Anyone doing this successfully?
