    Thanks for your reply’s.  I figured it out.  You actually have to have the drum tracks in the “drag midi song blocks here” in EZD 2 while recording, playing back and exporting audio from Ableton.  Works great now.  I guess even if the signal is present in the Ableton audio tracks it still needs EZD 2 input for playback and exporting from Ableton.  Never done midi before, quite different from just plugging in and playing my guitar.  Again thanks for the help all who replied.  And for you metal heads out there, the death metal pack is brutal.  Love it.

    Thanks for your response.  That video is exactly how I set mine up.  This issue is not that it won’t sound.  All channels work, all sounds great and seems to record.  In the track where the specific drum is located the record signal is present (the wave pattern in the actual track is there).  The problem is once I try to play back even though the record signals are present there is no sound.  Great sound while recording and can see the signal in the track but no play back sound.  All there is, is the guitar track sound.
