Super bummed to see that this was first brought up in 2018 and in July 2022 it still isn’t resolved. Renaming added instruments is fundamental for better workflow. Any update?
Yep, this is happening to me, too. Cymbal 5 was working earlier in my session, but it looks like it’s been corrupted. In the “drums” tab, it shows that I have a china cymbal loaded, but when I click it, cymbal 4 moves around as if I had clicked on cymbal 4! Now when I try to create a note in cymbal 5’s lane in the grid editor, it causes my DAW to crash. How annoying.

I’m experiencing the same issue, my tracks don’t follow the tempo change within SD3. Even with the “Follow Host” disabled, the tempo doesn’t change. Not sure what else I could be doing wrong.
