Since the Release of Detroit Soul for EZ Drummer and EZ Keys, I think there needs to be a Motown bass EBX. In the style of James Jamerson etc.

Also perhaps in the Progrock vein ala Chris Squire.

Also a fretless bass EBX like Jaco or Abe Laboriel.

Latin grooves to match all of the wonderful Latin Salsa you created in 2020.

And finally, a great upright EBX on the lines of Trillian but better.

    Hey James,

you might want to take a look at dontcrack.com. They have prices on all of the SDX’s that are better than just about anywhere else.

Have you checked the bottom snare channel to see if the bleed is turned on?

I use SD3 in PRo Tools. I have never used the track part of SD3. I’ve always used either the patterns I have purchased and drag them onto the DAW or created them myself. Either way, the time signatures are not responsible for the playing. You need to create patterns that match the time signature, not the other way around. You have to be musical, not technical.

All you need to do is unauthorize sd3 on the current computer.

Go to your personal page on ToonTrack and find your products or use the download portal. Find SD3 and authorizations. Just unauthorize it and it’s as good as new

I just found a couple companies that have some very good Latin MIDI grooves. They are formatted for SD3 as well as several others.

    They are:

Odd Grooves and Platinum Samples. I listened to both of them. I bought the Odd Groove Latin set. Really well played. Not Quantized in either companies Libraries.

    Okay,

I listened to the grooves provided by NI. They aren’t bad. They are mainly 1 measure grooves. Once I linked them to SD3, I had to find which drum in SD matched the corresponding drum in NI. Once I did that, the grooves just didn’t translate very well. Not impressed. I need to find something tho, I have a need for several of the Latin grooves included with NI. Come on ToonTrack. Please consider this.

Do you mean the Abbey Road Drum Kit? if so, yes I do. I have never used it because I have Superior 2 and 3. Plus several of the SDX and EZX.

Are there any good Latin grooves in the Abbey Road Kit?

I have not done that. Sounds interesting. I am specifically looking for drum kit grooves for Latin and salsa grooves. Afro-Cuban, Bossa, Samba, Merengue, Cha Cha, Foxtrot. I can’t be the only person looking for these.

I have a few from Native Instruments “Cuba” but I would love to have some Drumset/Percussion MIDI files designed for TT Latin percussion set and for regular set drums
