Thanks for the suggestion. There are too many things I don’t know how to do in the SD3 editor, I would lose too much time.
Anyway, I managed to get it right: I simply selected a kit from the library, rebuilt my custom kit again by replacing/adding instruments, and that got the mapping back on track.
Thanks for the replies!

I made the changes in Drums\Settings\MIDI in e-drums

I use Reaper. It’s not like you describe: it is only some instruments (a few cymbals and a few drums) that got mixed up in the DAW. There doesn’t seem to be any logic to the changes at all.
As far as I can recall, it started happening when I changed the instruments that were triggered by my e-drum kit, although I don’t see why that would have somthing to do with this issue.

Hi and thanks for your interest. The issue is that the mapping in the piano roll of my DAW don’t match the midi mapping section in SD3.

Hi, I’m still stuck with this issue, does no one know why this is happening?

Does anyone have a clue?

I routed them to OH Dyn indeed, before I came back here and read your messages. That works, but I can’t figure out why I wasn’t able to route X-OH anywhere and I haven’t saved the configuration with which I couldn’t do it.
Anyway, thanks for your help!

I have the default mixer settings for the Pearl kit in the George Massenburg core library, so there is 7 stereo output busses in SD3 and I have the matching 7 channels in my DAW (Reaper 6).

Yes, that makes total sense, thanks for your input guys.

Oh that’s great. I remember having tried before and for some reason it was all over the place.

Ok that makes sense. It doesn’t really help my case but it’s good to know!

Thank you for the reply John.
Are you saying that every single cymbal has been close-mic’d as well? Wow that’s excellent. In this particular situation mic bleed is essential to the sound so I won’t be able to use this but it’s great to know, thanks!

Oh wow that is so simple, I didn’t even know you could do that. Thanks.
