I was not aware the Grand was on sale. The Upright however is on sale for $39. Check your sales!
Thanks for quick reply and for checking this out. Ya, I just started to listen to some fusion offerings in the search preview. Unfortunately for me, nothing kills the musically inspiration process more than sitting and sampling short snippets of drum fills and grooves. But I will keep at it. Must me something I can use in all the available midi stuff. Thanks again.

Thanked by: ShootieI did a quick test, inputting Am-F-C-G, with a Jazz style and was surprised to see that what I picked stuck to the root triads! Not what I expected. I think you will have to test this out for yourself.
This is simply the best and may help answer a part of your questions from above.

Thanked by: DavesbandWow, I have never seen an option in EZKeys to simulate mechanical sounds of piano? I know this exists in some VST libraries, but did not know there was an option in EZKeys. Is there really a “noise or pedal knob”? I don’t see it.
But I don’t think that is the issue here. The work crackling in the OP’s message is key.
what is your hardware setup? (computer/laptop, audio interface…). When I hear “crackling” I think of things like USB bus issues, wifi card issues, video card driver problems. And most important and likely, …using ASIO? This would mean that the mix buffers are very small and the CPU usage quite high. I expect that those factors could cause this sound problem…. Or does this happen on a fresh start? or only over time. A search at the Mixcraft forum reports “crackling” in old threads. This may be a bit old, but may provide a hint to what is going on.

Thanked by: Glenn PolinYes, I see that, but you can’t place multiple chords on that small a duration with any consistency! It is hit or miss the closer you put the chords together. At least in my trials. But it give it a try if you need those short stabs and see what you get.

Thanked by: MackeypuppyThe bar grid or measures can be divided up to 16ths and beyond by expanding the grid with the mouse or using the button on the upper right , however the minimum chord duration is 1/8 note. At lease that is my understanding. In the picture below have devided the bar into sixteen divisions. I can place a chord at any 1/16 beat but the chord is 1/8 note.

Use the enharmonic equivalent D# Minor for Aeolian Scale. D# and Eb same thing. But you knew that? At the same time this may not be exactly what you wanted to do. Here is the issue – EZKeys is an old program (Still version 1) versus CapChords which has a lot of more mature features. So you have to settle for workarounds.
Never noticed that in all these years. I suspect you have an issue with your system.
Right you are. Do you believe it? All these years and this was never an issue for the developers despite this being a very heated topic of discussion years ago. Everyone has just accepted this and found a workaround in their DAW.
First I have heard that this is adjustable in EZBass. That is good to know.
