Just drag that audio snippit into EZKeys 2.0 and it will search all you EZKey midi libraries to identify and find the best match. If it doesn’t find it then it will search on -line through all the EZKeys libraies for the source. it will then offer you a 20% discount for the purchase for your trouble. ..now where is that big emoji smiley face..
Hope you can reach someone in Toontracks, I am not sure how easy that will be. But I would not hesitate a minute and would call my sweetwater rep. They may have some inside connections to help.
Thank you Jazzmandan,
I shall try that,
As for as you are aware once you’ve accepted
the midi file there is no way to revert back
to the blocks again?
I would agree with that conclusion. 10 years ago what it did was amazing, but it just never grew up.
I think that is an easy fix. Cut the bar right after (F,G). slide down the the ending portion by one bar creating an open one bar space. Then drag the first portion to extend out one bar into that open space. Reassign a G to that new bar. Finally you need to remove the G from the first bar… but that should be easy for you. If all goes well you will not have to reassign the browser midi. It should assign the proper midi to the new chord.
At the moment it appears For us Reaper users:
Ctrl-Drag/Drop moves midi from EZD3 into Reaper.
But it is a two step process to go the other way: Ctrl-Alt-Drag/Drop midi/audio from Reaper to desktop then Drag/drop from desktop to EZD3.
Yesterday they announce EZDrummer 3! And still no updates to EZKeys after all these years. Poor Jazzmandan, this post OP, went to his grave waiting for this update. Shame that many will have to follow.

Thanked by: Gary ClaggettYes to all your questions.
Just use your mouse to adjust and expand the timeline for quarter, eight and sixteenth divison markers.
EZKeys is way old. You have to cut it some slack due to its age. In its day it was a contender, but everything gets old and newer stuff takes its place. You gotta show some respect to the old stuff… ( what no smily face available in this forum?)
Are you serious? I tried to attach a pic, but does not appear to work and Scott bet me to it.
Check out https://groovemonkee.com/ for bass and drum midi which integrate nicely with EZBass and EZDrummer respectively. Start with all the freebees they provide to see how it works and go from there. They are a good source.
EZKeys is a bit different. I have bought almost all the midi packs Toontrack sells for EZKeys. But I do see that any 3rd party midi stuff should drag and drop into EZkeys but I have never found a way to integrate other content into the EZkeys Browser. May be doable?? Good Luck.

Thanked by: Bradley MizeI am only guessing and agree this is always confusion. But I suspect you can purchase the cheaper Sound Expansion if and only if you already own EZKeys. If not, then you have to purchase the Regular full product. Owning EZBass or SD3 has no part in the decision. Hopefully someone will confirm for you…
By the way, SweetWater will generally have better pricing on this and they can confirm over the phone at anytime exactly what the requirements are.

Thanked by: ElMojoCheck out Scaler 2.0. An endless source of chord progressions and variations which work seamlessly with EZKeys. And regarding playing the Piano, it is never to late.

Thanked by: David AnderssonI believe the lack of any response to your question confirms my conclusion that this is not possible. Until EZKeys V2 is released you will have to do this in your DAW.
