Hi Sam,
all SDXs are similar (great). Just choose what suits you. The release date of the library does not play a big role here. For example, The Metal Foundry SDX is one of the oldest and many producers (including me) still use it extensively in professional music productions.
Cheers!

Thanked by: sjchoate94Hi guys,
Jaro from DRUMSCRAFT here. In the description of each of my presets, I state twice (for sure) which SDX/EZX is needed for everything to work smoothly. Each thumbnail is linked to the Toontrack website to make it really clear which library it is (alternatively, you can buy it straight away if you don’t already have it). Usually, you need a full CORE library, whether or not it is listed. I assume you installed it together with the SD3 plugin.
If you have read the product description carefully and also have all the necessary libraries installed, it does not matter on which disk/path the library is located. Just open the SD3P file using the File-Open menu within the SD3 plugin or standalone application and everything has to work smoothly. SD3 will take care of this because the paths to the libraries are set inside the plugin. There is no need to set or copy anything else.
I try to make it as simple as possible. If anyone has a suggestion on how to make it even easier, I’ll be happy to talk about it. In my opinion, however, there is no easier way to achieve this. 🙂
